A Summer's Respite, 1863....

My latest project is a full-length biography of NYC's early and mid-19th century tavern keep and theater entrepreneur William Niblo.  Niblo is interred in a fabulous mausoleum in Brooklyn's gorgeous Green-Wood Cemetery where I work as a volunteer archivist.  I've recently guest authored an article on the Green-Wood Historic Fund blog which appears at http://www.green-wood.com/2012/a-green-wood-summer-respite-in-days-of-yore/
Take and gander and stay tuned for much, much more about this fascinating man and his fascinating times.
